Hi. I’m Steel Wagstaff. From July-December 2012, I hosted Steel’s Magnolias, a weekly music show on WSUM (91.7FM), the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s student radio station, along with my friend Pete Hnilicka, a long time student radio volunteer. Each episode of Steel’s Magnolias was organized around a single shared theme.

I stopped doing the show when I took a full-time job in January 2013, but have since been posting occasional Spotify playlists in lieu of a live broadcast. If you’ve got suggestions for songs, themes, ideas for future mixes, or just want to give me feedback about old shows or upcoming playlists, please send me an email.
